Pan-Fried Bourbon Apples


2 oz Brother’s Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp vegan butter
4 small apples, cored and diced (leave the skin on if you like)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tbsp raisins
Vegan vanilla ice cream (optional)


In a large skillet over medium heat; combine bourbon, water and vegan butter till the butter melts. Add the apples, brown sugar, raisins, and cinnamon. stir till the apples are coated. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stir frequently for about 10-12 minutes or until apples have softened and liquid has reduced to a syrup. Top with vanilla ice cream if desired and enjoy warm.
