2 oz Brother’s Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey
1 lb Brussels Sprouts
4 oz Butter
Salt & pepper to taste
Cut Brussels sprout in half and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Melt butter on medium in a cast iron skillet. Add Brussels sprouts, cut side down to the melted butter and cook until nicely browned. Move skillet away from open flame and drizzle the sprouts with bourbon. Use a lighter to flambé the bourbon soaked sprouts. when the flame dies down, add salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
Please remember to use extreme caution here, you will be dealing with a liquid that is on fire.
Do not carry the pan while flaming, this is best done on the stove away from your table.
Keep a large metal lid on hand, to cover the dish in case your flambé gets out of hand.
